Today I am going to facilitate a discussion with my NWP peeps about templates and their place in the teaching of argumentative writing. I cannot wait to see what my colleagues are thinking about this practice...especially in light of the discussion we had yesterday...thinking about how we present ourselves as teachers of writing when we work with our students and how that presentation enables or constrains what students imagine is possible from their position in the classroom...that of student writer.
