Time to shift modes...

Time to shift modes...This will probably be the last blog post I write before the school year begins. I have 2 days left of my summer break and I find myself...at my favorite French Bakery (http://www.ameliesfrenchbakery.com/)...reflecting on what has transpired since June 10th. What follows is a list (in no particular order) of things I am grateful for...Trip to NY to visit with familyTrip to Asheville to relax with my amazing wifeGoing to 2 concerts with a very good friendTime to meditateTime to do yogaTime to runTime to write (blogging, work on my article, work on my book)Time to visit with creative friends talking about things we are makingTime to readTime to binge watch a few things on TVAs I look back at this list...I see that the thing I am most grateful for is...time. As I move out of "summer mode" and back to "work mode"...I need to remind myself that the work I do affords me this time. I also need to remind myself that all of the things I am grateful for can be "had" while in "work mode..." I just need to create space for the opportunities.

Sunk cost...a fallacy?!
