The Seeburg has Landed!

The Seeburg has Landed!

The 1948 Seeburg Trashcan Jukebox I inherited from my dad was delivered to my home a few days ago. The culmination of a 5 month journey. From the back porch of my dad’s house, where it sat for decades, to the workshop of my father in law. Those of you who have read this blog know that it was my intention to attempt both a mechanical and cosmetic restoration. Those intentions shifted when we realized that there were parts missing and mechanisms within the jukebox that were beyond repair. I spent months buying replacement parts, and shipping them to my father in law who meticulously restored the jukebox to its current condition. My Sonos Play 3 Bluetooth speaker sits behind the front door to the jukebox and sounds amazing!! I am so happy and grateful to everyone who helped me bring a small (actually it’s pretty big) piece of my family’s history to our home. The journey is now complete! Back to the music!
