B12 and my heart rate...This past Monday I started taking a B12 dissolvable supplement. I researched the supplement and found that it helps with energy production, it assists in keeping the body’s nerve and blood cells healthy, and that it may improve mood and symptoms of depression. This last part of course got my attention. I’m currently taking 5,000 mcg/day, in the morning before breakfast. One thing I noticed right away was a sense of calm when arriving at work...I haven’t felt as tense or anxious. I’m not sure if I’m experiencing the placebo effect of doing something new. I can state that my heart rate has been trended towards being more calm overall since taking it.The week before starting saw my heart rate as follows:Monday-75Tuesday-78Wednesday-80Thursday-80Friday-79This week saw my heart rate as follows:Monday-76Tuesday-77Wednesday-77Thursday-76Friday-79Could there be other factors involved, yes. I know that these numbers are not dramatic but the numbers correlate to my feelings of calm, especially in the morning.
