THOUGHTS about this week’s APPLE EVENT: APPLE WATCH ULTRA

A few weeks ago I outlined my HOPES and WISHES for the upcoming Apple Event. Well…the event has come and gone so here is my take on what transpired.

What we got

Bands

No Product [RED] however, we did get some new colors for the Alpine Loop; Olive, Indigo, and Blue. The Trail Loop (not my favorite) got some new colors as well. My favorite band, the Ocean Band, got some new colors as well; Orange looks really good!

Watch faces

I was hoping for a new watch face unique to the Ultra. We got it; the Modular Ultra with capacity to have 7 complications.

What I’m currently doing

I’m a sucker for something new so I am BACK on the COMPLICATION train; rocking the Modular Ultra watch face; for now.

What I like

I’ve been testing the Modular Ultra watch face since the RC was released on event day. I like the font of the numbers that display the time. I also like that you have Style choices as to how big you want the numbers to be and whether or not you include seconds. I like the Bezel choices. Currently I am using Elevation because I like to compare and contrast the elevation of my current location. As far as complications go, the top row is utilitarian, CARROT Weather in the middle, and health related complications along the bottom.
