I am a husband, writer, and teacher exploring what it means to cultivate mental silence.

It’s been fun writing and posting to the blog all week long. Spring Break, since working on my PhD, has always been a time for me to geek out and write. A few days ago I thought it would be fun to end the week by trying to merge two types of poetry that I enjoy writing, found poetry and haiku. Here is one I came up with as I looked back at the week’s posts. It’s not as cryptic as some of my other haikus but fun to do all the same.

Next week I go back to “teaching” from home. I have not decided whether or not to post highlights from the week...like I did the week before break. I guess I’ll cross that bridge when I get there!

5th Week “Teaching” from home...

Why didn’t I think of this before today?
